interesting post trip symptom

well I tripped for the first time about a month ago and damn it was amazing! it truly changed me for the better, anyways I've had some very interesting mental side effects since the day i tripped. it seems whenever i go to sleep for the night I have this dream where i am chasing something through a house and I finally catch up to it and corner it in the bathroom, then all of the sudden i shoot awake and its exactly 2 AM and i crave whatever i was chasing with every fiber of my being (food, wanting to take a walk, play soccer, even sit a certain way, or to do something completely random etc) and if i don't do it i cant fall back asleep. any ideas?

It sounds like you're experiencing remarkably intense desire.

I would say during the day reflect of and be aware of every time you get the feeling of desiring something. Think rationally if getting the object of desire would bring lasting satisfaction and peace (logically, considering all of the consequences of getting the object), and if yes, then it's probably worth pursuing, and if not, then it's probably not too significant and is just a passing sensation.

Sounds like fun to me. I don't think you need to find lasting satisfaction in everything. You can take a walk, find a rock, and chuck it at a tree randomly. That was fun. You did it. Hooray! =)

Enjoy that moment.

If you find that doing whatever it is that you desire is more important than sleeping, go for it.
