Ahh... what a bitter subject. Yes you can indeed love two girls at once. It is the reprocusions of doing such that is the true down-side. You have to remember that love is a two-way relationship and that your girlfriend or girlfriends are equal. I have had a relationship in which the two girls at first had an understanding. Eventually it collapsed because such a relationship is near impossible. By no means should you decieve either of the girls about your intentions. Meditate on the subject and debate it rationally, you will find the truth.

i was in a situation like this very recently
i loved the girl i was with
but could feel our relationship wearing thin
out of lack of activity, differing drug intakes, different schedules, and the fact that we are both very motivated towards our respective goals
at the same time a co-worker, with a more out going and bombastic personality made very clear her intentions to me
for a while i was confused and froze like a deer in the lights
and then i stopped and thought about which one was closer to me in terms of personality, and reminded myself that if i never changed anything, i would still be dating the same fucked up girl i dated for three years in high school
so i made my decision
and so must you, grasshopper

I think it's possible to be in love with two people at the same time, definitely. Personally, I love different things about different people, everyone is unique. There's a hell of a lot of people in the world and I certainly don't believe in this rubbish about there being "one true love" out there for each person. It just depends where you are and who you have the opportunity to meet. You've just so happened to meet two of them at the same time, unfortunately.

Then again, it could all just be lust.

Here's something from a girls point of view...
We've all been in pretty much the same situation. I think if your talking 3 different girls you need to give yourself a break from your girlfriend and see where a single life takes you. Hook up with other girls, but don't expect for your girlfriend to wait around for you to make up her mind. Not only is that very assholic its also selfish of you.
I'm sure if your current girlie knew what was on your mind she wouldn't be to happy, the fact that your keeping it from her will probably make her evenless happy.
Get yourself single and go from there.

I dunno, call me old fashioned but I still think of (romantic) love as a sacred thing between two people. Yeah, there's a couple girls from the past I can say I love (kind of like I love my sisters), but I wouldnt ever say that I am romantically in love with two people. I just think that the trust, and the whole 'I pick you over everyone else' things are key components to true love. If you say that you 'love' two people at once, in my mind that just isnt possible. Maybe you love one and are infatuated with the other, or maybe you dont love either of them. I dunno, to me, true love is being surrounded by hot chicks and only desiring a specific one, because she is just that important to you.

Sounds to me like you arent ready for a commitment, which is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. One thing I've learned is that most people want to date around until they hit their late 20's, then they start thinking about monogamy. And most people my age, I've noticed, dont take relationships too seriously: I see a lot of 'friends with benefits' goin on, I see a lot of men sharing women, I see a lot of women getting fucked by multiple guys in one day. Its not really my cup of tea, but I guess some people need to live like that for awhile before they can appreciate commitment and true love.

believe me, when you fall in love for real, you will know. All the other girls, even the ones that look like supermodels, will look like shit compared to your special girl. You will find yourself unable to imagine being with anyone else. Call me an idealist, but thats what true love means to me.

No he's not a male slut... If he acts on those desires for other women then yes he is. But he hasn't said that he's cheated on his currrent girlfriend. However he has cheated on this girl he's lusting after.

My definition of slut, is someone who uses their sexuality to get what they want, someone who sleeps with whomever they choose regardless of who gets hurt OR a slut can be someone with very low self esteem who sleeps with somone just to feel like they are loved or needed.

as far as I can see he isn't because he's torn between people. Hopefully that means he has a conscience, which makes him not a slut...

mostly I was kidding anyways. I dont really believe in the word 'slut' as I see sex as a postive thing when not abused.  Obviously rape is bad, people who have mental problems like past molestations and crap who go overboard on sex is SOMETIMES bad, but not always.

Hell, sometimes I think about back in the day before I was married and how much fun slutting around could be, even though I never seemed to very much regardless of the chances.

I think its fucking pathetic to let your mind race around with so many chicks. You obviously don't have the mind to stay commited to a relationship. Become single and everyones up for grabs, just be nice and tell them you are not looking for anything serious. Females can read the wrong signs and become clingy.

I have the same problem with guys once in awhile but have settled down forcefully for now. Unless you can control your mind don't date this chick. Because its harder then ever nowadays to resist going behind their back and pulling moves in the name of Lust.
