Need advice from Shroomerite girls

It has come to my attention that I?m ugly. This apparently was not always the case. There was a time when girls generally thought I was "cute." I need to figure out what went wrong.

For comparison, here?s me about 2 years ago, when I was considered "cute":


And here?s my ugly mug now:


What went wrong? Is it the facial hair? Is it the glasses? Or am I just flat-out ugly beyond repair now and there?s nothing I can do about it?

You look good to me. Have you been around girls to ascertain whether they think you are cute? I find if I don't go out much, I lose confidence in my looks, and then when I go out a bit more and get at least some confirmation that guys think I am OK looking I grow more...

My opinion. I like that pic of you in the glasses. You look absolutely adorable to me. All that the facial hair does is accentuate your general boyishness and youth, believe it or not. You are very attractive in general, and anything that comes after that is personal taste which varies according to the individual. I don't think you have anything to worry about look-wise, man.

You have every right to be confident in your looks. Fuck whoever thinks otherwise.

Thanx everyone!  I feel so loved now.  :heartpump:

What brought this about, btw--and I know this sounds dumb--is that I was bored and decided to go to one of those "rate my pic" Yahoo chat rooms, and EVERY girl said I was ugly.  Now, if it was just one or two girls, I would've just shrugged it off, but the fact that it seemed to be the consensus kinda bothered me.

I've seen guys a lot uglier than you get laid on a regular basis.

I honestly think it has a lot more to do with money than looks. Try getting a good job, buying a nice car and wearing expensive clothes. Be prepared to spend lots of money on chicks and never see anything back from it. Its like gambling... you have to learn to enjoy losing. Dont spend money on chicks in hopes of getting laid, just go out and spend lots of money with the goal of making yourself and others happy and eventually the bitches will be all over you.

It's not even about getting laid. I manage to get lucky often enough(actually, I haven't gotten laid in a year, but I've come close a number of times), but it's just that I was a little shocked when I showed my picture around and everyone thought I was ugly.

man I dont want to start a rant here, but I will anyway:

All Ive ever wanted out of a girl was an equal.

I'm pretty smart, so I want a smart girl. I'm small, so I dont expect a tall girl. I'm not overwieght so I would expect a thin girl. I'm not terribly ugly, so I wont settle for an ugly girl. And so on and so forth.

One thing I've noticed about women is that they always want someone better than them. They want to marry out of their class. They want to ride someone's coattails to success. They are never satisfied with an equal.

It doesnt mean I cant get laid, but its damn hard to find an equal who isnt shooting for something better than herself.

It makes me so fucking mad sometimes. These bitches have no justification for their desires... You could talk to the ugliest, fattest, stupidest bitch and she'll tell you all about the rich, handsome, knight in shining armour that she expects to marry.

this may just be my opnion, but i dont think that yahoo girls, or online girls in general, are really the best judges of character. In a world where everyone is supposed to be beautiful, and being online, where your face is a mystery makes that possible, of course you are going to be judged harshly. But no, there is nothing wrong with you and I dont think youre ugly in the slightest. I for one find you attractive  :loveeyes:, this coming from yet another online girl. :wink:

Don't get too hooked up on what others think is better - it's your face/body. Instead of trying to meet everyone's demands and looking a certain way just to appeal to others, just learn to be REALLY comfortable with the image you have.
Once in Uni, I found out this girl liked me and thought I was cute. But, her comment was "except for the sideburns". I could have shaved them off so I could have scored, but I think it's ridiculous. It's like saying to a girl "I'll go out with you, only if you get a new haircut, lose some weight, and start listening to my music." If you do end up with a girl like this, you'll probably start living your life to her standards, and then you're doomed.
