most likely you working with an unclean culture.  i had the same on my first try. very hard to spot contamination on pan mycelium.  u have pictures of ur agar plates and grain jars?

I have a sneaking suspicion that the culture has mycogone, and that it came from the spore syringe. No pics on plate because I use wide mouth Kerr half pint jars for dishes, and you can't realy get pics without taking the lid off. Below is a grain jar pic, and one of a block before casing.

you can see that the tubs also have an overly aggressive growth..  something is fighting inside. mycogone possible but i would say unclean culture. i had the same, had to change even the spore print cos i was unable to clean it up.
lets see how this turns out.

Just saw my first bispo myc on a MS plate i noc'd up on the 21st :hamsterdance: i had honestly given up hope on these plates. Wish me luck!

Happy good morning to meee! I was about to toss this tub yesterday and thought... "let it ride" this morning I woke up and there are a few clusters, and this tall dude.

It is definitely bad culture, the mycelium is doing that overlay blue/yellowing thing and doesnt smell the greatest. But this guy is getting cloned and a spore print because hes probably got the will of a lion.

What would be the best place to take a clone sample from? Any one got a good tek for that?
