thankfully it's just a paper towel I'd laid over the tabletop (which is itself a sacrificial MDF topper), but drips from some more of those purple plates yes.

First flush of the fourth and fifth GT (MS) cakes 07/18. The first two are already on their way to their second flush. No contamination so far.



Here are the GT Clones from 07/21 going for their first flush. Nothing special in terms of yield — but at least — it's working.



And here are the mini Tidal Wave (MS) cakes from 07/31 in their new home. We'll see if we catch something decent — though I think patience will be needed here.

This afternoon I'm heading out to visit my Father in another city. I'll be back on Sunday — so my lady is going to take care of everything (which worries me a little). If the cultures don't implode in the meantime and I receive photos — I'll share them!

By the way, if anyone notices anything that could perhaps be changed or improved — all opinions are welcome.

Today's outdoor Gymnopilus Luteo., Steno. Pruinosis seed grown, Haworthia Cooperi close up.
5M (ATL#7 isolate) pins, T. Peruvianus "Walluac" seed grown shot from yesterday,
Leucocoprinus Sp. & Coprinopsis Ephemeroides also via yesterday.

TW pinning, KSSS squatting. Moved both to a water tub.


Had an ochra plin that threw spores all over the plate lid. Streaked it for giggles and now two germ spots are fighting so hard one went full killdozer. Cloning that boi for sure.


The white rabbit in the hair jar, after throwing out a neat blob, has now reverted to making a regular mushroom. This means I'll have before, during, and after samples for this one jar.

Will I pay for sequencing to investigate this? No.

Do I like tha it's technically on the table? Yes. :lol:

I might have to revisit the wild print to find neat variants. I hope you swabbed that one to see if that trait breeds through to the next gen.

I was seriously gonna go back to it (despite having prints from it)
and scrape some more genetics out, more of that mutant has got to
be possibly in there. Somewhere! I ran into a few of the bad-boys! :eek:
Hence me not being afraid of never being able to clone it!
