Eventually.... Still struggling to get things in place for it. Though on another note first flush enigma micoquart of straw topped with very little verm n peat moss. (Alittle small though it's a top fruit in a quart jar I'd say decent). Unsure weight as don't know where the scale ended up lol.

Alas, 3 of the 6 buckwheat jars in this batch, the bigger ones, were contaminated at the inoculation sites with a pink goo. The other half, including these 2 small jars, are looking good on day 12. Haven't break-and-shaken them, though.



Used the other one to clone the culture into five more buckwheat jars. These ones are smaller and contain less grain, and one of them is very small — the idea is that it will be fully colonized before any contaminant (if present) has a chance to take hold. I'll then use it to make more to share with associates.
