Congrats on your first gourmets! Next time, consider cutting a single slit across the side - folding the top of the bag over instead of cutting it off. You'll get a small number of large clusters that way, rather than a large number of small ones.

How much air exchange is that tent getting?

Tbh I just leave the front of the tent open and the air vent at the bottom of it open all the way. Hopefully gets plenty of air.

And yeah that’s what I wanted to do with it but it started shooting out pins with the bag still sealed. I wasn’t sure if it would still work to go out of a slit so I just took the top off and let those pins run. Next time I’ll definitely go with side fruiting. Thanks for the advice :takingnotes:

They're looking a bit long-stemmed to me - not sure passive air exchange indoors will be enough for oysters. But maybe they'll open up a bit as they mature.

It's common to aim for about 6 full air exchanges per hour with oysters, usually via an exhaust fan (like a 4-inch duct fan) connected to a timer that runs long enough to exchange all the air, every 10 minutes.

In case you haven't seen the gourmet forum, there are some good resources and talented cultivators over there.
