So what's crazy about this photo, which BTW features the first mushroom I've grown in over 12 years,  is that I'm running dozens of cultures side by side right now, mostly all clones. This one, however, was an x7x+ print that I took a swab to, streaked on a brf puck on November 8th. It germinated within 48 hours and quickly outran everything else with beautiful rhizomorphs. And now, before all other cultures, the bottom of the puck is covered in knots, and there is a pin beginning to form on the side of the jar. My first mushroom in over 12 years! Needless to say, this little guy is getting cloned regardless of if it turns out big and beautiful or if it looks like Satan's reject. 👍


Edit: to emphasize how impressively fast this is let me provide more details. I literally put dozens of clones and a few spores to brf pucks November 8th. On November 8th these x7x+ spores went to a brf puck and germinated within 48 hours. Then it was fully colonized faster than any clone in around 2 weeks. Now in just barely over 3 weeks from spores hitting the puck, it's fruiting in the jar without having been exposed to anything besides the jar conditions. Standard polyfil lid. The clones are barely finishing colonizing and this x7x+ spore puck is already fruiting in the jar like an old consolidated jar that's been sitting around forever. And it's barely 3 weeks from the print and it's already aggressively fruiting untouched before the clones are even finished colonizing. ✅️ x7x+ is FAST
