Forgot I ditched a few contaminated brf jars in my grass clipping pile behind my shed a month or so ago. Decided to dig them up a bit today and found these wrinkly little fellas doin their thing

No plans on eating these, but thought it was super cool. Hosed down the area a little to give them some moisture though.

I think Bobby got the good ending, he's got a dozen pins already. Dean's got contamination so he's getting buried at the crossroads, and I'm not sure the other two are going to make it. Definitely going coir shoebox for all my cakes in the future.

Get ready to harvest those cakes, prob early morning they’ll be done. Mushrooms move extremely fast once they hit that first growth spurt

Noob post, and probably the least impressive pic here, but I'm so excite I just gotta share with somebody!

My first try at PF Tek was too wet and went moldy. My second try only one jar ever took off and never fully colonized. This is my third try, and all four jars took off like rockets. Sam, Dean, and Cas are in a water box above this waiting to fruit, while Bobby here was shredded into coir. Six months of trying, thinking I was doomed, now I've got this gorgeous fella. I can hardly believe it!

That's what this thread is all about.  We share with each other, for if we don't we'll eventually tell someone that we shouldn't have. Loose lips..and all

Went a little wild.  11 shoe boxes (per your shoebox tek video - and the first several have grown through the ~2cm layer and started to emerge up top - ready to remove the shoebox lid for transition to the pastywhyte ez dial boxes? Or wait a bit longer?  These two are Stargazer.

Mmmm nice plate

Got some new tins I modified to hold my no-pours in the pc and while they set, hoping to cut down on condensation.

And a plate of some x7x+ smashed wedge mixed all up in the business of a natalensis smashed wedge, I doubt it’ll do the thing but hey, science

Another six inch bin popped albino. That's two bins from the GT, Burma and B+ grow that turned out fully albino. Still not sure what type they are since they are albino(?)

Very strange. What are the odds they all got mislabeled, I wonder.

I don't know but I do have one final product from them about to spawn to bulk before I'm all Agar work, my KSSS grow. So we will see if this was labeled correctly.

In the 3 pack I brought before, the Burma is the only thing that grew normally. But they all grew shrooms. So strange outcome for sure.

I guess this is why it is advised to get off that vendor dependence, never know what you're gonna get!
