That's wild if they really only did make 16 1st editions of the Charizard, and that you have one :crazy:. During the pandemic prices and buying of pokemon was on a frenzy from what I remember.

I have a "shadowless" Charizard, which from what I understand is one of the rarest charizard cards out there since it was a short run/print right after the 1st editions with out the shadow/border. I eventually want to get it graded. I have a few other cards that are 1st editions and OG cards from back in the day just can't recall.

spoiler alert; i am liberal/ libertarian/ independent but biased i suppose, whatever label you want to embrace, please read this whole thing before responding if you chose, this is my 'hindsight is 20/20' take on the last decade, thanks for reading

Trump was granted some immunity for his actions, incredible and a different discussion, and

...it is very clear that Biden is post leadership abilities (and can be replaced maybe wtf knows) and there is a huge machine working behind him (Trump as well) that most of us will never be part of because we (probably) don't grassroots with our local council or ombudsman or are real power brokers, whoever (any real politicians here should very much say something), as voters in the US, we are not all OK and that is obvious

but i don't believe we disagree more than we agree

the biggest issues to Americans in the US (i presume and welcome edits to this list), and not necessarily in this order (with sidenote thoughts) are;

1) the border (clearly, there are serious conditions at the US/Mexico border, (Canada just gives us smoke and is otherwise a great neighbor) human trafficking/unknown entrants/terrorists/drugs, these are collosal problems; screen everyone/anywhere/any/everytime when it is reasonable to do so, legalize/regulate/provide help for 'illicit' drug use (for the reasons some of us are still living today and have family, not what a dealer ever wants to hear, money should never be equated with lives lost or money gained imo), if we have bad people coming over, they need to be stopped and it should be determined why they are where they are on a surgical level)
2) inflation/cost of everything (Covid pummeled almost to death whatever the world thought was normal economic activity post 2019. the whole world 'took a break', and when that break was over, the greediest people in the world started controlling the world again but harsher; millionaires turned billionaires, whole economies dismantled and reabsorbed into something else, major world powers keep being tremendously ignorant about a final nuclear World War and how words have power (why do old weird people tell us when our life is over and we get to watch?), things are still expensive and that comes from the top, and that top is not Trump or Biden, so wherever the top is, they are all doing poorly imo)
3) racial/sexual/ethnic/religious/circumstantial acceptance (the US has the most accepting policy towards people of any race/sexuality/ethnicity/religion/circumstance, on this planet per population, at this date in history, this is a fact by any reasonable metric, this is a global issue and not a border issue, this was a vow the US made to immigrants for the opportunity to be free under the US Constitution, just to be clear)
4) climate change (if you do not believe our climate is changing or have not observed this personally over the course of your lifetime, ask someone who knows because you do not)

in summary; we pay taxes to do the following (as far i can tell)
- destroy our enemies while we wait for the Apocalypse....not OK

I had one.

I spent every dime I had on it, when I was a kid. One of my brothers is a certifiable psychopath... he's the one that stole it from me, because he is a jealous cunt, or something.

Jokes on him though, cuz he had to flee the state for unemployment insurance fraud. He collected like $40k illegally during covid, and they found out like a year after he filed!

My brother's goin to prison! :grin:

What makes you think Conservative states would want to secede?  There is no need with project 2025 and the recent supreme court decisions.  They have figured they can unilaterally impose their wills upon all states.

The problem here is... while a majority of voters in a given state are blue, or red... it doesn't mean the state has homogenous political views.

Most people don't know shit about politics in the first place.
