I love the swirly patterns that spores make in the caps as they come in - at first I thought these were from spores falling on them, then realised that's wrong since there's nothing above these for them to drop from.

This one goes out to all the "Cube myc is stronger than trich" guys.  You know who you are :lol:



Tried something new (to me) with a pint PF, made a well about 3/4 of the way to the bottom with a finger poke before PC run, then dropped a big wedge down.  My hopes are that it will colonize fast enough to be worth it, and so far I'm 50/50 on it. 

For me PF is just for funzies and pheno hunting.  Turns out you can actually do this hobby for fun :shrug:

Also threw a few bags (500g wet) of FP+ into some gummies. Strawberry Kiwi. Very happy with the current gummy recipe.

8oz sugar, 8oz corn syrup, 3 tbsp sorbitol, 1/4tsp potassium sorbate, 2 tsp citric acid, 6-10oz “liquid”, 50g gelatin unflavored, flavor, color

Make your tea. Filter it. Reduce it. Cool it. Add to gelatin (only).

Low heat bring the rest together. Stir almost constantly.  Add the good stuff mix. Stick blender. Fine mesh screen strainer. Pourable container. Pour into molds. Fridge. Air dry or no heat dehydrator (modified) to cure. Package properly and store. Room temp — but freezer is my preference.

Milkboy and a few others have fabulous write ups on gummies as well. There are a few ways to do it.
