ADHD got the best of me, and this jar fully colonized then stayed at room temp afterwards. I'm planning on grabbing a few of these pins and throwing them in another prepped jar of grain I haven't done anything with yet to colonize that, but am I alright breaking this up and sending to bulk? I can't imagine that would disrupt anything seriously, and it's good to know my grain work is clean enough to do something like this..

Heres 8 spawn bags worth of boiled oats, it dries a bit faster with this setup. Before I was just letting it dry in my kitchen sink without a fan, stirring the grains every hour, but it would take about 12+ hours for the outside to get dry. With the fan and ventilated crate it still takes a while, about 6 hours. When I prep lesser amounts it spreads thin in the crate and takes even less time, about 2 or 3 hours.

Some conclusions I draw from using this setup is that this way of drying grains is good to do overnight, and makes for minimal effort. If I wanted to speed up the drying process(but expend more effort) I would get a bunch of stackable thin trays with a fan pointed at them. I might try this out eventually if I get too impatient with overnight drying, but it does the job nicely so far
