 Gelatin Capsules?

I've read how some use gel caps as a way of ingesting shrooms. I was wondering people's opinions about using gel caps. Does the gelatine dissolve ok, or will it just clump around the contents? Also, because the caps get packed so tight, does it take longer to digest? Any other comments on gel caps are appreciated.

just crush up all the mushrooms into powder and put them all in the gel caps. Each 00 gel cap is .5 grams I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I have never done it personally, but I would really be willing to try it if i got the machine they are selling. To me it would be easier to carry around pills then a sack of mushrooms (although some of the presentation is gone).
I don't think it would change anything about the mushrooms, although maybe it would take another 30 minutes longer or so to digest the gelatin.

yeah, it will take longer to digest as you have to diges the gelatin first... other than that, thumbs up!
also, each cap weights .1grams... if you do it right, you can get .5 grams in them... which really is a nice measurement for it.
He somehow manages to breathe in his sepia, wounded-tea, liquid ambiance suspension.

just grind them and put them in chocolates. much easier to conceal, probably quicker onset, and pills are a lot more suspicious looking than a peice of candy.

so....digesting the gelatin would make it longer to feel the onset? I guess I just figured the stomach acid could eat right though it. And since the shrooms would be in powder form, onset would be quicker. Hmmm..anyways, thanks for your replies.

well out of stomach acid(hcl ) test should gelatin dissolved in ~40min, however stomach acid would dissolve it faster. Onset is about the same, unless u ate then the g-caps will take longer. However on average u feel em in 25-30 min, friend felt his in like 15min, but this was after starving himself like 5hrs. Anuways u can get gel caps to fit .7g if they are the 2nd largest ones, the largest ones u can get over 1g in em but they are big fuckers. ANyways i've been using gel caps fo quite some time now, love em and will never go back! Only draw back is i kinda loved tea(onset was like a rocket ride baby), but fuck couldn't stand the taste. Oh well its a trade off!

ive tried some cyan pills and it works fine as long as u dont eat anything before (2-3 hours)

get a piece of wiid, like a 1x4 piece about 6 inches ling. i beleive the 00 capsules require a 11/32 or 13/32 hole so if you take that board and drill numerous hoels in it all the way thru, the caps will fit snugly in there. put teh first half in the holes flush with teh top, powder up the sgrooms and scrape it in the capsules witha credit card or something. put the other halves of the capsules on the top and push the capsules back thru the top by the hole in the bottom to get them out. i have seen a friend do this once before a whiel back before he moved, he used to do it quite often and i believe there is a capsule tek here at shroomery... i saw one somewhere, might not have been here but i think so.

I think the gelatin digests faster because the veggie caps have cellulose which is not easy for us to break down. But who wants to eat cow feet? I'd rather wait a little longer for the trip.

Gel caps don't have to look suspicious if you empty out some opaque vitamin capsules, pack them with powder and return to the vitamin jar - pretty hard to tell that they're not the legitimate thing

you dont need a drillboard to load caps when making capsules of anything (your own echinacea supplements, etc), either. its easier, but you dont need it. simply spread your powder out on a sheet of wax paper, open the empty cap, holding the big end in your right hand (if youre right handed). push the cap into the pile of powder several times til its full. tamp it in with an unsharpened pencil end, put a bit in the small cap end, and cap it. then weigh...
and if you have sweaty hands, use latex gloves or the gelatin will get soft in your sweaty hands :)

If I'm drinking alot in a club I bring ripfuel with me to keep the alchohol from putting me to sleep. Rip fuel comes in gelcaps. It would be hard to tell the difference and a more believable story than I always bring vitamins clubbing with me.

I've seen empty ones for sale (several hundred in a pack) in some health food shops, or you can empty out old vitamin caps...

I wouldnt think that the onset would reallie take 2 hours?? Go put a gelcap in some water and it doesnt take that long to dissolve.. If water can dissolve it that fast then think of stomach acid.. but thatz just my guess!
