You can find some decent shoebox sized tubs at spotlight and kmart.

Reject shop have heaps of tubs. 20L ones that have a nice depth. Give them chonkers more height to grow.

I'm in SA, completely new to growing but used to come here back in 2009 for the picking threads. I'm out of the loop, does anyone know where I can get cubensis spore prints/syringes domestically? Not keen to import from overseas, I don't want to get on a list if a print gets seized.

I've found everything else I need thanks to this thread, so thanks OP!

If anyone’s after isopropyl alcohol go to Sydney solvents, about $25 for 5 litres of 100%, can’t remember shipping but it’s still cheaper than metho from Bunnings.

Errr, last I checked $25 was cheaper than $30 and this is online, but never mind, it’s been a few months since I last ordered and they now only sell 1 litre bottles or 20 litres for $80, which is still a bargain.

I haven't tried this guy yet but https://www.ozcactusgarden.com/ had a large list of cube LC's last I checked in with him.

FYI I found 18g syringe's at the local produce store cheap as :smile:

The next thing I need is a larger PC as mine is really small, Been looking at the presto 23L just hope its tall enough to put 1L jars into. 


What are people using as HEPA filters for flowhoods ?

but happy to pay more for a larger better filter

I bought the 18L Hawkins big boy through the Bunnings site, bit of a trick to the lid but easily fits 7-1 litre jars (Kmart ones), 5/6 bags or 3 large bags.
Have bought swabs through oz cactus also and they’re good, can’t attest to their LC’s though.
Every time I tried to buy those filters through Kmart the order would go through then I’d get a refund a day or so later saying it was out of stock but there’s a guy selling  so called flow hoods with them (maybe that’s why they’re out of stock) apparently they’re not bad short term but you’d be better off making your own with a better fan unit, or just get a proper hepa filter which is what I ended up doing, sure, it’s more expensive but honestly if it wasn’t that I’d go straight back to a SAB, nothing in between.

Looking to make my own just want to source the filters as locally and cheaply as possible but if anyone has advice ill take it!

I can vouch for usr/colisp on ebay Australia for having good LC. Or I should say for my noob status at the time it was clean enough to make a shitload of PF cakes, I did get clean agar plates from the one 10cc I tested though.

Kmart has the tub game locked up tight. I bought some from Bunnings a while ago but now but these days I think I paid something like $15AUD for a 50L with wheels and there 30L might have been $12 while everywhere else wants twice as much :0
