Alexander Litvinenko was a former officer of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and the KGB. In 1998, Litvinenko and several other Russian intelligence officers said they were ordered to kill Boris Berezovsky, a Russian businessman.[3] After that, the Russian government began to persecute Litvinenko. He fled to the UK, where he criticised the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian government.[4] In exile, Litvinenko worked with British and Spanish intelligence, sharing information about the Russian mafia in Europe and its connections with the Russian government.[5]

On 1 November 2006, Litvinenko was poisoned and later hospitalized. He died on 23 November, becoming the first confirmed victim of lethal polonium-210-induced acute radiation syndrome.[3][6] Litvinenko's allegations about misdeeds of the FSB and his public deathbed accusations that Putin was behind his poisoning resulted in worldwide media coverage.

To be fair, you were the one who brought up 'angry christians', IIRC.

I don't think anyone would argue that other places in the world are just as or maybe even more corrupt than here but I think people are upset with 'the west' and 'western powers' etc. because that's who has been calling the shots for the last 500 years or so.  If you're going to rage against the machine, that's the machine to rage against.

It might last I heard the russians are now scrambling to reinforce the area but failed to recognize its strategic importance earlier. I'm hearing alot of reports theyre taking heavy losses with their counter attack like throughout the war so far have been bogged down and I don't believe russia has the wherewithal to hold this front some reports are saying 75k casualties on the Russian side and because russia isn't reporting thier casualties we can only assume they are very high. Ukraine has a limited strike capability but they seem to be very effective at targeting supply lines and making russias pay dearly for any moves. Again like i said they continue to over extend into donbas while not shoring up a harded defensive line and are now facing counter offenses in the south and north. They also seem to have trouble crossing rivers at every turn. Our military spends billions on equipment and training on these types of situations because of how critical this is tactically. These are all major obvious mistakes. If you can't support and suppy your forward troops and you can't cross rivers or moutains or wetlands ur basically totally fucked your just going to be constantly funneled into choke points and fighting with undersupplied tired troops with low moral. Ukraine knows this and simply has to dig in and fight for thier homeland like theres literally no 2moro because these assholes already ruined their lives destroyed everything they love and are going to cut thier dicks off where as russians have to fight because thier scumbag leader sent them to die a fruitless unjustified war. Ask yourself who do you really think has the stomach to win a war of attrition? :burke:
