Oh what a new world, I have my mushies growing on top of my legal marijuana grow tent 😂.  Then I dry them inside the bloom tent over the led lights.

This is a T2 of Tidal Wave.. I'm planning on taking a couple transfers from around 3-4 o'clock.. does that look like the best place?

Also I know that I should clean it more before going to grain (thus the transfers) but I was wondering if I could use the part of the T2 to make a LC to inoculate some PF Tek jars since PF Tek is a little more resilient.. thoughts?

5 or 5:30 ish has some nice rhizo.

As far as sending some to lc and brf, I usually do something like that if i have extra jars or whatever cuz it’s really hard for me to throw away plates

Does anyone keep their unused poured plates @ room temp until ready to use?  I have some sitting in my closet for a couple weeks now.  Should they still be good?

Yes. I often leave poured wrapped plates sitting on a shelf for at least 7 days before using. This insures that the plate is actually clean before using, which help elucidate the source of any contams.  I have some clean 20 day old plates I’m about to transfer to.

I keep mine at room temp for months stored in the sleeve they came in... I put the bottom (opened) end of the sleeve in a fresh ziplock bag and seal it with an elastic band, they stay uncontaminated for months (so far). I only open it up in front of my flow hood when I need a couple of plates for something. I'll give the bag a quick spray of 70 iso and wipe it down before I open it up.

Worked for me last couple of years with no problems. I find plates stored in the fridge get too wet and mess things up.

I do most this except I just tuck the opening under and let the weight of the plates hold it closed

Trying a transfer from this mess. Is it pretty simple to keep this contam off the next plate? I feel like it shouldn’t be a problem but I also want a challenge….

Grab some tiny transfers from the leading edge. From 11-1 o-clock. That’s a lot of mold, so it may take a couple transfers.

I usually don’t let agar sit as long (these were wrapped in the fridge,) but it happened and I have blue “bruising” to my knowledge. What do you guys think? Doing some transfers with these, I have more but want to use these.

I could use these as well, I have too much agar and trying to switch to LC.

I made 25 plates 1-2 months ago that have no growth

Can I reuse those plates and use new swabs on them or is that asking for trouble ?

Want to have the highest success rate for these swabs so making new plates is no issue but wasn't sure if using old plates might be fine
