I have had really good success pouring into the walmart brand condiment cups. Normally I only lose a plate or two every 40 I pour. That is definitely good enough for me.

The walmart brand isn't rippled around the edges so you can label it and still see what is going on inside the plate.  It is better for pictures as well.

I start pouring at 120°F and I stack my cups about 7 high to cool.

The top cups normally have more condensation for a couple weeks. I just use the bottom clear ones first then by the time I need more agar they are all usually free from condensation.

Honestly try a shoebox with it.

At this point im really curious because ive had plates identicle to those and they grew out perfectly fine, which leads me to beleive this buisness about the nutrient issue. ( although ive never heard of that myself )

My question is :

Could this be signs of the organism becomming "bored" with its diet? Using 1 kind of agar all the time.
