One mile of new fence per year.
Trump declared an emergency and took $15 billion from the military and we got 3 miles of new fence to show for it? Seriously, what the fuck.

Your own post shows the wall is being built. Your comment is also a lie based on the numbers you posted.  Are you OK upstairs?

3 miles of border wall where no wall existed. The rest is replacement. Can you not read?

Is that really the deal you expected when he said he was gonna build a wall? Only three additional miles of the border secured after more than three years? It’s like you people take pride in being just another sucker for trumps empty promises. His whole career is built on fooling gullible people and it looks like you’re just another victim.

They upgraded the existing fence and added 3 additional miles? What exactly is the problem? Im sorry the the new fortified border isn't going up as fast as you would have liked

It’s not me who is owed the apology. It’s the trump supporters who thought he was actually going to build a wall on the border, not upgrade existing fencing.

You can patent drug treatments in the United States. You have no clue what you’re talking about do you?

Well, I am no expert, so please help me understand.  My understanding is that A CURRENT patent can be approved under a new indication and get an extension.  Once the patent is EXPIRED the drug is available to generic manufacturers.  A new patent can be issued on a drug combination, or a formulation change for HQC, neither of which will change HQC status as a generic drug.

koods said:That’s literally what prophylactic means. Jesus fucking Christ

This is a multi-use drug, prophylactic HQC would be great news, but who said it was the only solution?  They use HQC for Lupus, who new Lupus was cured, hooray!!

Preventing and effectively treating the infection both involve killing the virus. If it can't prevent it, why would anyone think it can effectively treat it? What would be beneficial about a drug that both suppresses your immune system and isnt effective in killing the virus?

You do not have to cure COVID to treat it, slow it, or reduce symptoms, as I mention above HQC is APPROVED for Lupus, which is not necessarily preventable, or curable.  Preventing the virus would be best case sure, so that is one of the reasons we are studying the drug as a prophylactic, but that doesn't mean it stops there.

When it comes to HQC and COVID there may be no correct dosage, there may be no magic combination of drugs, but these studies are how we determine that.  The point being, we should look into all options during this time of crisis, especially an APPROVED drug that has been used safely for DECADES.  1 Study with extremely sick patients does not prove, or disprove anything.

I was reviewing the study we are discussing. The lancet one. All of the patients received the drugs within 48 hours of diagnosis. Patients on ventilators were excluded from study.

The WHO has suspended all their HCQ trials due to increased risk of death.

That is referring to medical grade masks.

Here’s their guidance on non medical masks:

Quote:
The use of masks made of other materials (e.g., cotton fabric), also known as nonmedical masks, in the community setting has not been well evaluated. There is no current evidence to make a recommendation for or against their use.
WHO is collaborating with research and development partners to better understand the effectiveness and efficiency of nonmedical masks. WHO is also strongly encouraging countries that issue recommendations for the use of masks in healthy people in the community to conduct research on this critical topic. WHO will update its guidance when new evidence becomes available.

Why wouldn't they upgrade/repair the existing fence before starting work on virgin territory? I think we can all agree that the old fence was shitty and in need of upgrading anyway   I dont even see any trump supporters upset about the current pace of the wall, they understand that trump had 100 roadblocks in his way and had to pull teeth to get funding.
Ironically the only people complaining about the pace of the wall are anti trumpers who didn't want a wall to begin  with

Yikes really? An old fence is still better than no fence. They could have had 194 miles of additional barriers along the border, then gone back and fixed the old fence.

Can you explain your logic, because this seems to be a profoundly stupid way to approach the problem. Is it just having to justify the stupidity of the trump adminstration leaves its defenders no choice but to make retarded arguments?

As for complaining, well I’d really like to know why we had to divert $15 billion dollars from the military in a national emergency to defend an extra three miles of border.

But if he had hundreds of additional 4 year terms to work on it and we multiply. Uh, no. If he had thousands of additional terms. This should be his campaign platform.
