Why does Carl Schmitt think that science is about truth?  And why does he care so much about facts?  Those two ideas are bastions of a closed mind.  Science is about observations and models.  Truth and facts are best left to the mystics who have it all figured out already.

Scientists are like modern magicians. They always try to predict and prove that what not exists (yet, or anymore)

With material positivists pushing scientism dogma as free inquiry of the unfolding of nature, it's most certainly true.

It obviously is.
Predictions are about the future -> not exist
Recreations of the past -> not exist

It's an ironic view, of course, but it can be seen that way.
That place magicians or religious leader took in society to create our worldview before science, scientists have taken now.
The predictions of scientists are only true with 100% controlled conditions. Which in nature rarely happen.

Again, also not true. Scientists aren’t like modern magicians. The future and the past technically exist, since replication is a thing and science can do it pretty well you can say the “past” exists. Scientific predictions about what will happen are reliable enough to act upon so the future technically does exist.

Nothing at all like magicians, and it cannot be seen that way without some logical leaps and a lack of understanding of how science works.

If you say science has taken the place of magicians and religion then you really are out of the loop.

Science shows that if you know the factors at work you can make accurate predictions, same thing in nature. All that is missing is the information, which we might not always have. But considering how well science has worked I would say your point is moot.

" The future and the past technically exist"
Sorry, wrong again. That is what science tries to tell us. Technically is a scientific word.

Future and the past, by definition don't exist in the now.

I will repeat,
it's an ironic (edit: exaggerated) view, of course, but it can be seen that way.
That place magicians or religious leader took in society to create our worldview before science, scientists have taken now.

But they do exist in the now, and neuroscience is pretty much confirmation of that (with humans not having libertarian free will).

Lol, no. The now is influenced by the past and the now influences the future, but both are practically, physically, really not here (in the) now...

(Of course I know they are related, but...)

Where does this idea come from?  The theory of gravity predicts that if I throw a rock up with human strength, it will come back down.  Simple.  There are plenty of scientific predictions made in uncontrolled conditions.

Scientists predicted the last eclipse.  That was a 0% controlled condition with an event happening in that moment we had no control over.  Not of the event or extraneous actors.

Using empiricism and models, I predict tonight the sun will set earlier in the northern hemisphere than the southern hemisphere.  0% controlled conditions.

That's true. Controlled conditions include the conditions we know about and which will stay (most probably) the same.
The term stems from laboratory experiments.

why are scientists not like modern day magicians?
they study what others avoid (hence esoteric 'wisdom')
they earn their money working for sponsors while trying to capture and enslave new jinns (genies, miracles, natural laws)

I think, I just hint on the similar mental influence, those systems have on our perception of the world in some similar ways.
