we have to FEEL, and that can be painful, but to nurture that feeling because that means we still are in touch with soul

Being homosexual myself I understand what you mean. My sexuality is suppressed by my parents' culture, so I naturally feel like I want to change things for the better. This may be for myself or for the good of humanity, I personally have not yet made the distinction yet because I'm not sure. The world is becoming better and more accepting for homosexuals and people of sexual minorities or any minorities for that matter, however I find that 'mass' change is unimaginable, for every single human to accept this is I think impossible.

I am gay also. With the internet and all the diverse pron, and including cyber sex and possibilities of meeting people and just seeing the DIVERSITY OF sexuality it is a lot better for gays than years back, especially in the 1950s...OMFG. Alan Turing, one of the original pioneers of the computer was busted for being gay and was given a 'choice' between hard labour in prison OR taking a drug which would castrate him!!

My overall issue is with the world is that there is a lot of ignorance, a lot people are running around like nothing is happening. Instead of sitting down and deciding what to do next we are asleep. I have attempted to discuss it with close friends and family but they are either un-receptive of my efforts or call me crazy.

Don't let them put you off. often they are deeply thinking about this but won't admit it, even to themselves. But know that many ARE passionate about what you are, and you can find them in places like the internet.

Quote:
The greatest contradiction however I find happens here because me sitting here on this computer is just as part of this system as much I complain about it.

I often feel conflicted as to what to think about change and revolution. It just seems like a hazy dream after a while. I have opinions and realizations as to how much evil festers in this world.

That is why questioning is so good, because it is alive and onward. See yourself as an explorer rather than someone waiting for a 'conclusion'. Life itself is wild and ALIVE

Saw a BBC documentary short while agao how the Apple corporation treats its workers and the environment. SHOCKING!! And the owner is in complete denial. he hies behind words/statements. Didn't even have the guts to face the camera

I'll say this again just in case someone hasn't heard. Through all of recorded time there seems to be about 1% or less of, more or less, awakened individuals.  This percentage seems to be part of the evolutionary process for humans. Something they bring to the table is valuable for humanity.

However that does not mean in the least that this 1% has any direct influence with the other 99% of sleepers and creepers.  Their influence is more  often in the realm of arts and sciences, philosophy, etc. (indirect influence on culture.)  They support, mostly the other 1% folk who need community if they are to thrive at all in this imo messed up human culture.

So... yes seek out others who share your views and offer support but don't expect to fix anything out there in the world/

Best of luck to everyone on this path. It's certainly not for the faint of heart and is often lonely (even with friends) and scary (facing everything you can) and often depressing (seeing through the veil) .  On the other side there is something heroic imo in going against the mob and facing your DA with as much spunk as you can muster. :satansmoking:

You just summed up my POV very well.  I had no idea you were such an awakened soul.

1) i agree with most of this.

2) "mother earth" is a worn out notion that needs to go away.  the earth is not sentient; it is a combination of atmospheric, mineral, and organic molecules constantly interacting.  it does not create anything.  it allows for habitat, based on its proximity to other objects with gravitational or solar affect, which allows for organisms to proliferate (or not).  given any number of circumstantial differences, including time, AT OR AROUND THE TIME of any of our ancestral species' unintentional deviation from their current genetic patterns, WE may not have been or may have been of a similar but ultimately different form (mentally and/or physically).

WELCOME! I am loving your questions, and want to reply to both this post and the later one.
For me questionings itself is revolutionary. NEVER let people put you donw when they throw the typical 'so you wanna change the world' trip on you. it is meant to shut you up, and making out that your naive and you should accept the shit. Think of 'world' as the people you know, your community, you--that is where change really begins
Yes we are seen as cogs. This happened big style of course when the industrialized revolution began. Notice that in all areas of thinking (thinking made sure to be in-the-face tranmitted) we were said to be 'just like animals' (Darwin (eg with the derogatory notion of animals) with the 'fluke' oh human 'intelligence living in an insentient random nature.
'Thinkers' like Descartes had already induced mind/body dualistic concepts and claimed animals, and the human body were machines. later Wilhelm Wundt--an 'experimental psychologist and philosopher' claims we are just like machines like it was believed animals were, and so on. ALL this toxic shit was just enabaling the elite, or leaders, to have US thinking we are machines, and thus when herded into the cities and factories we become 'cogs'. That is our 'fate'. See how it works. it is levels of concerted mind control which SERVES an elite who rake in the $£PROFITS$£ ta daaaaa. being played aint in it!!!
I agree with all you say up to now, and love you mentioning the magick part of this, because I find this a very taboo issue that many people, including a good proportion of the psychedelic community want to keep silent about. All the occult code and mind control going on! we HAVE to become aware of this, and ask questions...

Thank you very much for your reply, I loved reading it, it gave me something to think about and it makes me somewhat relieved that there are people out there that understand my perspective.

It's intriguing to me that you understand the deeper psychological aspects of mind-control. I do think that the mind-body separation has generally made us feel disconnected with the world, so this is used by fascistic powers to shove their agendas down everyone's throats. We are raised to feel that the world we are living is hostile in every turn imaginable but that is simple not true. We are made to feel that we are lost within a darkness so profound that we cannot even think to breathe without making sure that we aren't killing ourselves in the process, or making some authoritarian figure angry. These men who wish to control do so by making us feel that we are ants, that we are insignificant and thus we take it on as the fundamental principles that our thinking and living is derived from.

Let's not forget that the younger generations are much more susceptible to this indoctrination, the rate of information transfer on this planet has reached a new height that could not even be taught of a 100 years ago. We are fed lies from a young age and we are dropped into a sea of illusion. You can see now that day by day, the ability to hypnotize human beings into the flickering screen is easier and easier. Tyrants can now send an idea or any propaganda to millions of people within hours if they so wish to do this.

Life is much more magical than we think, even the way that something looks, like a tree or a plant can mesmerize you, you can look at the way it curves and it's colour and you will always ask yourself...'how is such a thing possible?', 'how can it be so?'. Nature is too profound to reject it as just a machine. We may have machines within us but the feelings that we have are too complex to be 'just a machine'.

Quote:
Don't worry about 'humans'. That is an abstract term. WE are, You are aware of this, and so am I, and we are discussing it here. That is what matters. People on the whole are naturally inquisitive, but often there are resistances to stuff they feel threatened by for what ever reason. So it is really not letting that resistance block YOUR questioning. Sometimes someone will resist, but something has happened that they may think about later.

That is true. I find that people are intrigued somewhat...until it reaches a the roof of social acceptability and political correctness. My question will continue still, I find I am in too deep to turn the other way and close my eyes, because even you close your eyes, the mind works its magic, more profoundly even.

I will be back, I need to think some more

The path is very difficult because it does cause me a lot of heartache and anxiety. To hardly have a grip on any real grounded thought is hard, but it is VERY rewarding.  I often feel isolated but I am naturally inclined to it anyway so hey.

It is sad, but it is true that there are only a few. William Blake, for example, was a revolutionary and had many anarchistic ideals, he was against a lot of the ideas in the mainstream religions and the political structures they upheld but unfortunately the man went mostly unnoticed. It was not until after he had died that his political poetry spread far.

I hope that I find new and more people like this. I find that the reason that society has such a disdain for these 1% is because they bring something very important to the table like you said. They challenge the current social paradigms and constructs, which I find is important.I don't think that fixing things is my aim in life, I ONCE wanted to when I was much more optimistic but I can make small changes, as much my human capacity can bare.

Re: The System and Revolution. [Re: BreathlessVision]

I have trouble with the '1%' stat. This is because over there people say that the 1 percent are the MEGA ultra rich shits who think they are calling the shots, and actually this can be graphed--I saw a video about this very recently which shows the MASSIVE disproportion of wealth going to a 1 percent. (may try and find it)
So to say only 1 percent care deeply is a bit pessimistic

A while ago on the telly, there was a documentary about this beautiful country side where I live that isn't that far from where I live, though defo not down the road

Well I heard that before 1932 this land was totally private and 'commoners' weren't allowed to walk on it etc. ONLY posh fkers shooting were

So what happened was a large group of people got togther and all went there walking and hanging out. Some got arrested , but some years later the Labour party created access to 'national parks' and that is now one of them and now all humans can rightly walk there and enjoy the landscape

So there we are, an example of people getting together. And I am for all of that. But I am alos for learning about how mind control works, and how it is used so that we police ourselves and others. One example of that is the divide and control mind control which is mind/body dualism, and which cuts us off psychologically and spiritually from the land

This is why love is central. Most people know that to bond with others love is important, and this love has a wide spectrum of potential, from care, as for a child, parent, friend, to ecstatic erotic delight. But this can also be for the land. And i think this is one of the greatest fears of those who rule us, and hence why they want us to think of our selves as robots and nature as dead and without spirit.

The very term 'robot' actually means 'slave' and 'forced labour'!

You can care deeply about the wrong things if you are even semi asleep.  I'm almost 62. I'd say that I have maybe met a dozen people (that includes this place) at the tops who I would consider fairly awake.

They do give smokers a hard time now, but it's only an excuse to raise tobacco tax twice a year every year. Then we have drugs and alcohol, only alcohol is just a drug, it should be drugs and LSD, cause LSD is not just a drug, it's really something else. Alcohol and tobacco most often increases productivity. Working hard, drinking and smoking go together. People who drink generally exercise more and take more risks. Not so much in my case, I sat around drinking full time for most of my life. Christian Räetsch reports that Tabetan shamans drink a liter of distilled spirits every morning, the gods turn it into waters of life. Also there are reports that Tobacco was/is considered the most important, sacred shamanic plant to some amazonian shaman. Certainly the tobacco products I consume are very different to leaves picked off a wild jungle plant.
