Whoa I have some people to share that one with! Namely, a Christian friend that used to be incredibly open minded, but has recently given up everything for God... pot in particular. Now he's getting judgemental about other people's religions (mainly wicca) and it's bugging me. Maybe this website will make him realize that he wasn't as alone as a christian with respecting pot and entheogens as he thought... hmm.... *becomes conniving*

So what does a Christian do when he does something the people condemn? Will he/she not withdraw and continue being a Christian without the Church? Of course he will, with more troubles than (s)he was already dealing with.


Just remember that many of the denouncing of marijuana and mushrooms comes from their legal status and the propghanda that comes from it. Prior to it's illegal status, cultures around the world used it for a huge varity of purposes. Preachers and congregations probably group marijuana and mushrooms together because our society does. And of course, it's ok to think outside of, but still be a part of the congregation. Who knows, there may even be people who smoke marijuana but don't say anything.

I wish we could have mushrooms and cannabis at church social events...spice things up a little. Then we'd have to find babysitters for the children, though.

I'd like to see a mass assembly of people from all different religions getting together and taking mushrooms and marijuana. Imagine the ideas that would come out of that!
