Most agnostics are atheists, and vise versa

I wouldn't say that all self described "agnostics" are also atheist, but I think that most are. The same thing goes for "atheists" being agnostic as well.

I also think that many self described agnostics (and people in general) have been mislead about atheism. I speak about myself a few years back, when I called myself an agnostic. I used to think "well you can't say for sure that no god exists, therefore agnosticism is more rational than atheism".

But of course, atheists don't claim that god is impossible. They just haven't seen evidence for god - just like the "agnostics".

If you are not a theist, you are an atheist.
If you "don't know" if there is a god or not, then you're not a theist.

What do you guys and gals think?

Some might. Most don't. And by most, I mean every atheist i've met, along with all of the most famous living atheists.

Funny how you left out the last part of the quote, which I specifically included to demonstrate that it's not just the atheists I've met. Like I said, most people have been mislead on this subject.
