Just found something that would be very handy on ebay..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/30-ROUND-PLASTIC-STORAGE-CONTAINERS-BABY-FOOD-POTS-4oz-/220715232434?pt=UK_HomeGarden_Kitchen_FoodStorage_GL&hash=item3363a72cb2

30 PP5 plastic containers and lids for £4.20 inc p+p.
Seems like a damn fine deal to me. PC safe too!

They have all sorts of sizes in their shop. They list sizes from 50ml all the way up to 3L. All PP5. Very handy and cheap.

Could use the small ones for reusable agar plates maybe. dont know about GE though.

The 8-10oz ones should work for pftek.

Cool find.

It will sky rocket, true bargains like that rarely happen. And yes, I'm a pesimistic bastard. :P

I just spent 70 on a new 14L pc.

That wasnt bad on that autoclave either.

They said they have another one. Maybe its worth investigating?

Would figure two weeks after I buy this pc that I got that http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ex-Army-Pressure-Cooker-New-Box-/320646202177?pt=UK_Collectables_Militaria_LE&hash=item4aa800c341 comes up. Would have saved me a 5'er and got 4 more litres. that and it wouldnt have a stupid lid that you can't fill up all the way.

Has anyone ever thought to got in touch with the M.O.D. regarding military surplus cookware? they must do auctions etc..

I tried contact them a couple of years ago but had no luck and gave up when I found 2 6ltr. highdomes for £10 each. I know they use big pressure cookers for troops, or they used to.

I think that's a good idea, I hardly ever look on ebay, life is too short. I get absorbed by that site and sit there for hours.

I reckon you could pick them up damn cheap if you knew where to get them wholesale/direct 2nd hand.

Just found that ebay now has horticultural grade granulated gypsum.

Cheapest I've found so far. Not a lot cheaper than the garden supply site floating around in this thread but it still is.
