Cheers badman, a lot of help!
Defiantly put us down for a good few bags if anyone wants to spilt.
Just to trouble you for a few more details, do you knot and seal the bag before PCing and does this lead to any pressure problems with the seal on the filter? And finally where do you source your Tyvek from, is it simply a cut up overall suit?
Thanks bud

Oh yeh the details, whoops.
I used to tie the knots after they had been sterilised, open the autoclave as tie up as i removed them. Now i just heat seal the bags before I sterilise so they can be shot up as they come out. In either case i removed all the air from the bag so theres no chance of deformation of the bags and put the sieve plate on the top so nothing can block the valves if they do inflate.
No problems with the filters apart from the edges fray slightly after being cut, this can be sorted if you have a heat sealer or if you can be bothered to singe the edges.
A little tip with these is to push the corners of the base into centre to mimic a gusset or seal them off.
I picked up the DU PONT tyvek suit of the net XXL, use to top half for 'work' and ripped the bottoms up for fliter and such. I also picked up the 30 cm heat sealer of ebay. A dodgy £8 second hand one which smells like burning after prolonged use but i fixed it by taking it apart, this was an impulse buy but definitely i got my 8 quids worth of use.

It's the only stuff I've ever used, it's a nice fine powder and mixes well. But yeah that's the stuff, I got the 6KG and it's lasted well, need some more myself soon.

What's the postage on 12kg? I'm stupid busy at the moment, various projects coming to a head in the same week. If it's cost effective I'll take half though.

I dont know but I bet its more than 6 quid. Maybe We I can sweet talk the company into sending you 2 6kg and me 2 6kg for half the price of 15kg and we each pay our own 6 quid shipping?
Worth a try. I got time.

hey Base
Hows that sweet new PC working out? I am pretty tempted by the 18L version for spawn.

Its a lot better than a 6L I'll tell you that.
If you were going to spring for the 18, I'd just get two 14L tbh. Not much more and yeah. Lot more capacity.

Egodeathflux and base, I'll go in on that Gypsum if you sort somthing out but a quick check looks cost prohibitive with shipping.
Base you cooked up anything interesting in the new PC? My spawn bags are currently looking quite happy so fingers x'ed

Yeah ego mention that two 14> 1 18 a while back. Credit to him.
I think it might be a bit of a stretch to get them to post it to two of us, let alone three. And shipping on our own is probably out of the question. I looked at parcel force and they said that 6.5kg was 15 quid shipping
anyone have any better ideas?

I think we'll just all have to make an investment on the gypsum front, can't see how we can compete on shipping costs. Think I'll get myself a big bag, it doesn't degrade and I'll use it eventually.

Thats a bad ass dehydrator. I recently bought this one works well but no temp control, it runs at 75c I'm worried that its too hot. Not had chance to try the shrooms i've dried so far. One good tray of shrooms will fill the thing.
Also Pound Land have the plastic shoe box's back in, their 6L
