why do fat people let their fat hang out?

I mean really, don't they know how they look?

Maybe I'm a stuck up asshole but I have this kinda-friend.
She's got a good personality but she is three times bigger than I am, me being a 150lb normal dude.

She always wears shirts that are WAYY to small for her, so each roll of fat is just that much more pronounced and visible. The other day I counted and she's got 5 separate sections of back fat. (this being fat on her back)
And then this-the other day I was hanging out with her and her hot friend. The main motivation for ever hanging out with her is to see her hot friend but that's a different story.
So anyways we are all playing rockband or whatever, and I look over to see a good 6" of stomach fat just HANGING out of her shirt at the bottom. Picture a guy you know with a large beer belly, well this is her. Really, it was just simply disgusting to see her fat literally hanging out of her shirt.

My questions are, is it normal for people to be disgusted by this?
Is she really to naieve to see how unattractive and gross she looks?
Any thoughts are appreaciated.

ps I have nothing against fat people. A couple of my closer guy friends are on the chunky side, no big deal. It's just fat girls that are a MAJOR turn off for me, especially when they seem to be clueless about their bulging bodies.

This is what irritates the fuck out of me, fat girls like this don't seem to give a shit how they look, yet the women in my family and girlfriend are all sticks who think truly believe that they are unattractive if they put HALF a kilo on.

Urghh, when will they realise that being too skinny is almost as bad as being fat.

I have a theory that in the next 100 years humanity will branch off into two civilizations. One will be fat people, and the other will be normal sized people. Over the next thousand years we will end up evolving so differently, that no one will even notice any similarities between the two. At that point it is my belief that the fat civilization will eat the normal civilization, and it won't even be considered cannibalism. The aftermath will look like a jabba the hut family reunion.

I thought it was funny. :shrug:
