Of course first one has to accept that one is suffering before helping him/her (or oneself) out. But helping out is the act of love, not that pure acceptance which came before.

For me to accept something as it is an act of love. Not love as in if you are this or that then I love you but as in not trying to influence any situation with your personal preferences or needs. For myself I think love is a lot like being totally relaxed. It's not some mushy sentimentality. It being open and not shut, to anything and everything. The usual way humans use the concept of love is much more like addictions or bargaining to me.

I see what you talk about. It seems like utilized love, which inevitably turns it 'false'. But for me love usually involves strong emotions too and I have no intents to make somebody fit my conditions or built up some pressure around it, even that original feeling once tasted so good. If it's forced, it's lost. If it fits it just fits.
