I pose a moral and ethical question to you kind folks...
    #8332513 -

I recently stumbled upon a strong idea, an epiphany if you will. I have and idea to raise money for a Charity that has yet to be determined( pm if you would like details about the idea). Now this may have potential to generate large donations of which essentially the entire sum would be donated minus costs to handle set up, accounting, and legal representation. My question is it OK to budget out a "salary" if you will for labor and time included in moderation and maintaining the operations? considering I would be devoting as much time as to having a second job. I is it morally and/or ethically right to do so seeing as it is for a charitable cause?
I not sure how i feel about this; part of me says that the sacrifice of time and labor is part of the charitable cause; on the other hand everyones needs to make a living and why should someone who's working their ass off curing cancer make money for curing cancer and not the person helping to raise money for a world cause?
thought opinions anyone?

I think it would be alright to set aside enough money to keep yourself alive (living modestly), as long as the charity effort is eating up enough of your day that a part-time or full-time job is out of the question. There may be legal issues concerning this, though. These links may be of some help.

Do you plan on paying other people or are you only seeking to 'hire' volunteers?

Thank you for the link.
I believe eventually a staff would be required mainly with up keep of a website and help getting the word out. My idea would start small but if caught on would snow ball into something big.
