OK, what about all the things you personally hate, don't agree with or don't respect. The pedophiles and murderers etc. Is there no gap here?

"what about all the things you personally hate, don't agree with or don't respect. The pedophiles and murderers '

personally, i think hate is a symptom if illness. its only purpose is to remind us to straighten our thoughts out. Things like sickness, ugliness, murder, violence, rape, pederast etc... i try to love them.

Not condone them, not support them, but still love them. My thinking is that everything is a reflection of some facet of self... and so to hate anything is to hate part of yourself, which is fundamentally unhealthy

its a logical conclusion to come to if you believe

A. "we are all one" or "all is one"

and

b. "the only sin is self hatred" -das energi

its like a nightmare. if im having a nightmare about zombies and plague and war, then i know that everything im seeeing is in a very real sense, ME , my own mind. so to be afraid of it or hate it is just a bad idea.

thats why if im lucid in a nightmare, i make a point of trying to kiss or hug the scary things! not easy to do!

like ill have a nightmare that im being chased by zombies, force myself to turn around and give that rotted face a big kiss! gross . but effective and empowering. Face your fear. love your fear.

wow im long winded tonite.

but yeah. im trying to see the sacredness of sadness. my cat is dieing of cancer and we have to put him to sleep on monday. im trying to see that as a sacred part of life and an essentially good thing, even though i dont really like it per se.

The conclusion you jump to may be your own.
I thought it was some sort of phallic symbol.

Yes!  Keyes and Ellis are excellent resources for this re-programming.

We both agree on this. I was wondering if Hue did also. He has strong ideas about right and wrong.
