Still probably some of the most potent I’ve tried. I  recently had a comfortably strong experience from just 0.25g dried. I’m deeply in love with this mushroom and it seems like a lot of y’all are, too.

Also curious if the beta-carboline theory has been confirmed with lab tests yet, especially in conjunction with the idea that letting them mature longer allows the MAOIs build up.

I know, late to the party on all this. I don’t do a lot on Shroomery these days.

Not all contamination is visible, some smell, but yeah if everything looks and smells right, nothing to do but wait

I've never done any miraculix testing or similar with them but I have eaten plenty of Semps harvested at various stages. Harvesting whilst they're still caramel gives them quite a nice potency too but nowhere near what you get with the black ones. The difference is quite massive.

My first heavy trip on these were caramel brown ones where I ingested 1.8g in total and had an amazing time but then I was told to leave them for longer and I did then I tried another 0.5g as a starter dose and had my ass handed to me because I didn't expect them to hit me so hard that dose FELT like 3-5g standard cubes.

Compress the new tubs when you spawn like they owe you money, they don't mind. They also like a laymix if you want to play around some

What I mean is, let's say I have 600ml of spawn and are spawning to 2400ml coir including a top layer of coir.

I'll start with mixing 450ml spawn with 1800ml of coir, when it's thoroughly mixed I will compress, then I'll take the remaining 150ml of spawn and do a thin layer of just spawn, and top it off with the remaining 600ml of coir and compress again, hope that makes sense

If you zoom in on this picture you should be able to see the thin layer of just spawn between the mixed substrate and the top layer.
