My culture does eat through trich, or at least I’ve seen it happen with this culture on two tubs. My other tubs didn’t contaminate visually if at all but a couple got a green spot, next day completely dusted green, thought it was dead but left it with the lid locked for four days and I came back to check it and it had pinned. 1oz dry flush too, no fruit damage. Don’t some wood lovers do that?

Are you sure it was trich or some other green mold? I've seen myc eat some green mold on grain, but it was not trich.

My newest shoebox, not allot. There is trich going on. Bigger fruits ok average than my last shoebox. Pinned and fried quicker with no top layer or casing. Going to try a mono next. I gotta G2G a jar though. Hopefully I can get some grain made this weekend.

It showed up about the same time as pins. I tried the salt trick and slowed it down.

Never used the Shroomery Market before here. Would it be ok to post there asking if someone is willing to trade natalensis spores? Thanks

I've got a few prints. Probably have to clean them up on agar. My first time taking prints and all. Not sure if I can send during lockdown though.

Extremely aggressive mold that colonized the substrate and turned green overnight. Looked like someone took a green pixie stick and poured it over the entire tub and happened in less than 24 hrs. I’ve never seen cubensis myc eat through a sickness like that. It may not have been trich but either way the mycelium ate it. Gave the fruits a weird green spot on the caps

Looking nice grim Yours has fat stems, most of mine are pan like. Left picture of my signature as an example. I'm knocking up a couple BRF cakes tonight just to see how they turn out, and I put a small agar slice to a brf puck to blend and inoculate with.

Did you bottom water those grim? The caps are tiny like when you bottom water after the Pinset comes in. Looks great and like a solid flush! Is it clone or MS

Its a clone. Took may last grow biopsied straight to grain. Didn't bottom water the sub is just starting to pull away from the sides now.
I'm going to try these on oats next. Don't use them anymore but still have about 25#. These things are so aggressive seems like they'll rip through anything before it can contaminate. Not to say oats contaminate I just don't have a good track record with them.
Edit- I'll tell you what I feel privileged to be growing these. I think with a little tweaking on desirable genetics you're going to see these blow up as a staple in the community.

Tried these out for the 1st time last night. A 2.3g tea fried me! Totally taken by surprise how strong these were. Thought I peaked then an hour later got slammed hard. I'd put these right up there with APE.
