Compared to blotter I like them a lot better the actual active seems to be perfectly Homogenized.

Which isn't always the case in my experience with blotter.. you might get one super saturated piece that makes you trip balls and then you take another piece of different time and maybe the drop barely made it to that paper or whatever and then you're getting a weaker hit.


As far as micro dots I don't do anything "micro" LOL so I wouldn't know

Even though these gel Tabs are extremely micro in size they're absolutely macro/heroic in  actives..

That gel tablet was 200ug and literally the best acid I've ever had in my life..

Up until that point the best trips I always had were from a plug I used to have.  where I would get vials of liquid and that shit was extremely pure.

So in terms of what's it like compared to the liquid I would say it's basically exactly the same..  as long as its very pure. And these def were.


When it comes down to it.

I don't honestly think the medium matters.

If the Purity is there and the medium that's being used is properly saturated and evenly. Then Thats what makes the real difference. 

I did like the way the tiny little gel tab felt in my mouth LOL

Hell, I haven't even seen the stuff in any form in 20 years. That was always my favorite. Had a lot of fun times and some scary ones, too. I'll cross paths with it again someday. Enjoy!

Yeah the best blotter I ever had was lab tested at between 130-150 mics.  Which is a pretty substantial difference, especially if you're taking more than one.

But I haven't done blotter in over a decade.  Only liquid.  Which is also not a great way to measure, considering a drop can vary a lot even if the suspension is homogeneous.

Ah yes, I agree. Should've formulated my question differently. How did the form affect onset and time to peak? I know we had 250 ug microdots once and they only started doing anything after an hour. Took at least 3 or 4 hours to peak after that. With liquid, I can feel the stuff working on me within fifteen minutes.

Same thing as comparing lemon tek to chocolates, for example. Same stuff, different timeframe.

200 mics is sweet. It's my sweet spot. I know I'm in for a real one and it will definitely be visual, but it will not have me writhing on the ground or thinking I'm a pillow. Which is cool too, just not in every setting.

And yeah, I hope to be partying hard again next weekend. For now it's just sweating, humming ears and a head full of snot. Yergh. The shit babies infect you with.  Did work today, but shouldn't have.

Also there's a lot of negativity piling up, so to distract myself I wrote another trip report, also about acid. Bloody shame I only found out about the trip reports section after spending a year here.

Edit: I think the main downside to blotter (for me) is the often low dose. We were spoiled with high dose blotter in our younger years, but after that it turned out most blotter is like 50-100 mics. Had too many nights where I just missed the mark. And trip nights were scarce with young kids

Are you sure they were LSD?  Because that onset is more akin to some of Shulgin's babies.  Such as DOC or DOM.

Don't think so, as I react very differently to phenethylamines, on the other hand, never had DOx, so who knows... But with all 2C substances and cactus, it's really obvious it's a different substance.

Yeah I generally agree.  But outside of onset, duration, etc.  I found DOC to be quite similar to LSD.

DOM has more of a cactus vibe.  But it's also much rarer.

Thanks, yeah right after I posted that I looked it up in PIHKAL and Shulgin said 14-20 hours.  I don’t have time for that at this point in my life :lol:

My hvac shit the bed on me thursday, just on time for the arrival of three dogs I'm dog sitting and in the middle of this mekong heat wave.  I was making progress after bringing my Yeti culture back to life out of too long in cold storage, HBP too, and right back in they go.  Cpl tubs worth of jars to spawn that will be fine, but I guess aside from that I'm taking a break from culture work for a month or two.  Backup cooling strategy with window units is in effect, but I don't put window units in my mush room.

Could be worse.  But I'm going to confess anyway.  Always said my two biggest guilty pleasures of western civilization were hot water and cold air.

I feel like a spoiled youngin' whenever I hear the older heads talking. I spent hours researching Erowid, Bluelight, Psychonaut Wiki etc. before dropping for the first time to reduce the risk of frying or traumatizing myself. First experience was a drop of liquid estimated at 150-200ug and that was a marvelous time reeling for about 12 hours. The next few were gel tabs which varied between 1/2 and 1 1/2. Was always a bit hesitant about blotters after hearing how they can be inconsistently laid and are more often the target for fakes such as nBOMEs (not sure how true that last part is, but I suppose it's easier to taste bitterness/metallic flavor with them).

All in all, it's something I'd only do on the seldom special occasion. Super bright and stimmy to the point of being uncomfortable at times, especially if I exceed 200ug (which I did with the 1 1/2 gel tabs, was at a festival and got caught in some not-fun loops during an otherwise good time). I'll probably only stick to one for now on.

2C-B, on the other hand... that's something I would love to meet again someday. The body load is more agreeable and has a similar brightness along with vibes like shrooms and molly. Maybe someday...

Just way to many untested rcs coming from pls house lab heating plates lol last 4 times I took lsd was a more well-known lsd varient RC like 6 years ago talk about a headache the next day n I slept through half of the 200 ug
