I have a buddy who forages lots of chanterelles, then he dries them and grinds them up to make some of the best seasoning I've ever tasted. I think he mostly adds salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Maybe onion powder also, but I'm not sure about that. The stuff is MAGIC. Makes anything taste amazing, like it magnifies the flavor of what you put it on vs making it taste mushrooms. Definitely has an earthy thing, but the depth and complexity of the flavor blows my mind.



I know it would take a bunch of dehydrator space to dry that many, but I highly recommend making seasoning with some of those.

OMG I’d love to get my hands on some of that! If he is interested in trading some BBQ rubs that I make I’d be happy to trade!

I make a cocoa rub, a smokey habanero rub, a regular pork rub, a coffee rub and a Cajun rub/seasoning.

Only thing I've been cultivating lately is a bunch of joro spiders:



They're like natural Halloween decorations! I keep the webs away from where we walk and just let them be. Fat, happy spiders everywhere!

I'm for sure gonna try this , I'm dehydrating at least 1/3 of it
