During the George Floyd riots there was 2 billion dollars in *direct* property damage.

The source of your claim, (which can be found here: https://www.gao.gov/assets/d23106625.pdf) makes the claim that the *cost* of Jan 6th  (not just property damage which was only 2.5 million), was supposedly in the billions.

If we were to use these same metrics in the George Floyd riots and count the deaths and injuries and the cost of of all of that, the funerals, the lawyers hired, the hospital bills, the jail time, the cops involved in the riots and their salaries, etc... etc... etc... (allocation of resources) NOW George Floyd riots are in hundreds of billions, if not trillions.

I know math is hard, but I'm here for you.

And besides, the FBI just admitted they had over 250 plants in the crowd that day. There was a lot more going on than meets the eye.

Neither were protests, both descended into riots.

The difference is, Trump wanted the national guard present at D.C. that day just in case and ran into snags that were of Pelosi and Mayor Bowser's creation. Both women were instrumental in making sure the national guard was NOT present that day.

And the FBI just informed congress yesterday that there were 275 "plainshirt" agents planted in the crowd. No major news network I can find has covered this story yet. Wonder why?
