This is the case for well over 90% of them. They were scapegoats.

When you say they were framed and scapegoated what do you mean? Do you mean they weren’t physically there or that they were baited into being there and committing crimes?

Which angle makes them look the least moronic?

funny how you bring this up over and over and never mention how the jan 6 party that totally-was-not-a-riot-or-insurrection cost the American taxpayers $2.7 billion dollars according to the US Government Accountability Office.

now on one hand, BLM protests were in response to decades of extra-judicial violence against minorities by agents of the state, whereas jan 6 was... well you can weave your own web of bullshit to explain jan 6 away...

Fool when you continually pull shit like this it makes people think that you're either an idiot or that you're intellectually dishonest.  I only mention it because I care

You're off by an entire comma. It was around two and a half million, not billion.

According to the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office, the January 6 attack caused approximately $2.7 billion in total estimated costs to American taxpayers. page 12, paragraph 2, sentence 2

this figure is taken from page 1, paragraph 1, sentence 4 of this feb. 2023 GAO report

again you're proven to be full of shit.

You mean the 2.7 billion dallors based on the 1.9 billion dallors given for security upgrades and total cost of the prosecution of 100s of people thru fbi and DOJ.  Which the summer of love lacks in its cost finding.

During the George Floyd riots there was 2 billion dollars in *direct* property damage.

The source of your claim, (which can be found here: https://www.gao.gov/assets/d23106625.pdf) makes the claim that the *cost* of Jan 6th  (not just property damage which was only 2.5 million), was supposedly in the billions.

If we were to use these same metrics in the George Floyd riots and count the deaths and injuries and the cost of of all of that, the funerals, the lawyers hired, the hospital bills, the jail time, the cops involved in the riots and their salaries, etc... etc... etc... (allocation of resources) NOW George Floyd riots are in hundreds of billions, if not trillions.

I know math is hard, but I'm here for you.

And besides, the FBI just admitted they had over 250 plants in the crowd that day. There was a lot more going on than meets the eye.

The protests after George Floyd's murders were about injustice and government oppression.  Jan 6 was about being sore losers.  You really don't see a difference?

And the US police industry is probably $100B or more annually.

How many billions do we have to spend before we deserve to get mad when they fuck shit up?

Neither were protests, both descended into riots.

The difference is, Trump wanted the national guard present at D.C. that day just in case and ran into snags that were of Pelosi and Mayor Bowser's creation. Both women were instrumental in making sure the national guard was NOT present that day.

And the FBI just informed congress yesterday that there were 275 "plainshirt" agents planted in the crowd. No major news network I can find has covered this story yet. Wonder why?

Don't count your chickens on Jan 6th yet. Ma' boy James Grant was one of many that was framed that day.

yep, exactly what I expected from you.

you just twist and worm and bullshit however you need to in order to deny reality and push your manufactured narrative.  peak cultist behavior.

we are supposed to be upset about a $2 billion hit to insurance companies but make some exception for $2.7 billion in direct costs to taxpayers?  you lack intellectual consistency because you're compromised by cultism.

Sick burn. It seems sooner or later after I finally decimate your arguments you always retreat back to the "got nothing left to argue so I'm just gonna throw shit around the room" tactic. Too bad theropods have such stubby arms. Us apes are far superior at shit-slinging, too.
