That because legal dispos are having a hard time turning a profit, even big vertically integrated ones.  It's to the point that in many places the licenses no longer hold value of any kind.  Guys that were banking on selling the license as an exit strategy are fucked. Oversupply is not the issue. Demand is there.  There's no reason there couldn't be a weed store on every corner just like liquor stores.  It's just that legal cannabis products can't compete on price and convenience with black market or hemp derived products

Your other comments about ICE remind me of South Park's most recent episode, which was really good (thought not quite as good as the prior season opener). Maybe but we ain't talking about corn and milk.  You can't get a usda loan for a weed farm.  You can't get crop insurance.  You definitely aren't getting subsidies and every state/county/city government has a hand out for their cut at every step from grower to consumer.

If you want a democrat in the right position, we already have one. RFK Jr, our Secretary of Health, is working on a foot-in-the-door approach to psychedelics as we speak. I also hear dropping Marijuana to at least schedule III is in the works by others in the administration. I also want more, as I typically consume cannabis daily unless I'm on a tolerance break and also advocate for sweeping federal legalization.
