Real is absolutely critical, though. I don't think they give a shit about the name on the return address, though. I usually go for a name that works as an obscure inside joke of some sort, so that the receiver knows it's me who sent it.

I’m a fan of Jake and Elwood, so I always use Wrigley Field as my return addy. I know they’ve received at least a few thank you prints. I wonder if anybody knew what to do with them?

I confess I’m so overly cautious working in a SAB. I really just need to fork the money over for a hood. I do enough work that it’s worth it imo.

Basically I work in my SAB in a walk in closet with a target air cleaner inside it running when not in use. I scrub the entire thing with iso before i work. Clean my SAB turn off any hvac and close the closet. I then shower and wash my torso and arms with anti bacterial hand soap 😂😂 and then sanitize everything in the closet once more with iso.

I just did a kind of long session and the alcohol fumes got to me.. in always scared of blowing myself up because I use a kitchen torch for sterilization (always running the entire time) but I haven’t done it yet 😂

However since I’ve taken so many precautions I have a very high success rate. The few contams I have ran into were from obvious peices of dust or body hair.

Anyway I wonder how much brain damage from iso it’s gonna take before I buy a hood. If anyone has suggestions on some id love to hear. I’ll likely spend about $500 with shipping, but I need a decent surface area because I plan on working with bags ❤️

I don't think you are going to find what you are looking for for $500. Build one maybe but not a completed one unless it's used.

working in a SAB is so much easier than people give it credit. I do it on my kitchen island. Wipe the countertop off with a wet paper towel, give the box 10 minutes to settle, get to work. You do not have to perform magic chemical rituals or shower or scrub the air. All totally useless steps.

On the subject of mail and addresses. I use a real return address due to the possibility of someone opening and discovering what's inside. I would rather check the send to address than have a USPS employee do it. For the security of the trade I feel it's better that I get a "Do over" instead of a piece of mail that is undeliverable both ways.

I have used screen names and never had an envelope returned because of this. I think you can draw a picture there and it would still be delivered. Anyone willing to send me a privnote and we can test this with an empty envelope.
