So, if one believes that corporate powers have undue influence over our government and nation, then advocating violence against them would be in line with Jefferson’s ideas.

The militia act was written in response to the Shay and whiskey rebellions, giving teeth to the 2nd amendment.  It is clear from Washington's letters that the point was to strengthen the Federal Government against rebellions.
