what are we doing with that wedge? single jar or massive expansion?

if single jar send and take notes. for expansion id maybe do another xfer i like more symmetry but that probably doesnt mean anything i just like it.

Because it often gets stuck on the blade. Much easier to cut a wedge.

My blade always gets hooked after i heat it a couple times so it tends to snaggle myc and it gets stuck.  bigger wedges are just easier.

I was trying to grab some wall climbing myc off old plates and yeah man...I maybe butchered a plate with some frustrated stabbings. Hopefully enough came off to make shit happen. I considered tweezers, but my hands are not for finesse so idk if it would work. Could one slice the aerial myc and then try to tweeze it to a plate? Idk if that would even be any easier...

I’m prepping agar and now that my glass dishes have all arrived, I need to pour more. Which one would you use along with by regular agar bottle? Both I used when I was making kombucha for the second fermentation stage so I’m hoping they can withstand the PC. Thanks!

I would only use the Pyrexx. I have heard of bottles exploding in people's hands due to rapid temperature changes. Beyond trying to give people good growing advice, my number one priority has to be safety.

How many plates are you pouring at a time?  Trying to decide on 1 more bottle or splurging on 2.

if ur pouring 20-25ml u can get about 40 plates out of 1000ml

I use 75mm plates, I usually get 21 to 28 plates per 500ml bottle depending on how thick I want them.
