A few controversial policies being traded back and forth...

Socialized medicine was first attributed to Romney, ie. Romneycare.
Clintons called for a wall, due to 'superpredators'.
Birtherism was first used against McCain for being born in the outer Marianas.
The first antivaxxers were Dems, under Operation Warp Speed.
The Civil War reference was due to southern Democrats being the party of slavery and the Klan, Biden having called for segregation.
Reconstruction was arguably the first example of affirmative action, attributed to radical Republicans, whose demonstration burned down cities in what has been called the war of northern aggression.
Now, Republicans are supposedly in favor of state's rights and forced labor.
Universal civil service had been advocated under Obama, and more recently by Ramiswami...

It’s a moot point and a dumb position give the reality of the situation. So of course it came from Trump.

I’m not aware of any socialized medicine proposals ever being supported by Mitt Romney. The ACA, which is similar to Romney’s plan, created a marketplace for individually purchased health insurance plans. Maybe people don’t remember before the ACA, it was nearly impossible to access or purchase healthcare insurance plans as an individual. Nearly the entire market consisted of employee plans or other group plans. The public option, which would have allowed for government run insurance was removed from the law before it could be passed.

And even the most ardent supporters of universal healthcare do not advocate for nationalizing healthcare services, only the payment system.

I don’t really care. Most tipped income is not reported.

But I think it would hilarious if they passed a bill before the election and name it after Kamala.

That's exactly what it is. The world watched to old rusted up geriatrics call each other names for most of the election cycle. Now one side has a candidate who isn't older than death itself.and is actually coherent. So they have to attack her race, say she sucked some dick to get where she is, blah blah blah.

They can't even tell you how she was acting more black than Indian, or explain themselves in a way that doesn't sound just as retarded as trump.
