Where did you get the idea of honeyjars?

Also I can verify for you: Its legit, no mold just mycelium!

I didn't know they were honey jars. I just got some with a wide lid to make it easier to get the cakes out.

Glad it's looking fine. All six jars look like that.

the jars are small canning jars for jams and such. I have similar ones

U use a corkscrew to get the mycelium cakes out.
It doesnt damage the cakes at all, :seriousthumbsup:

Looks like one of those medieval reliquaries. Saint Shiitakes finger bone. 😂

Hi James, they are of the Albino variety. When they are touched they bruise and turn blue same as the regular ones. I guess they are so white cause I've left them alone to do their thing.

Thank you for this.  I’ve just been bashing them and waiting for the glass to shatter and cut me to ribbons.  Ingenuity!

Looking good. Your homemade spore syringes was probably cleaner than most you would buy.

You know i tried to smash mine as well, I almost cut up my entire hands! I folded a kitchen towel around one and smashed it. Goodbye towel.

You just take a normal corcscrew and (the T version, not the advanced thing) screw it into the cake, then screw until it pops out, the carefully unscrew the corkscrew from the cake..

 So I also messed it up. My MUM shouted at me for 30 mins..

See those..those are Rhizomorphs and theyre a surefire sign youre on the right path. That black spot, is no contam. After day 4-5 rhizos begin to develop. Try and grind your own BRF, it usually works best when you have quality control
