    Over 350k Chinese kids leave China to attend school here every year  . They have been coming here in significant numbers since the gold rush .
I don't see Mandarin replacing English as the worlds official language in our lifetime though .

Mach, weren't you super stoked on trump, debating in his defense a whole bunch, like 6 months ago or am I misremembering something?  What led to you doing such a drastic 180? You confuse me.

Joe Biden is better than Trump but he is a far cry from being the best president we've ever had.  Not that any president was particularly superb from what I know but Biden is just treading water.  His efforts really aren't strong whatsoever and that goes for Kamala "hey central/south americans fleeing your fucked up countries,stay out of the US, we will turn you away" Harris; she hasn't been any better, at least from what I've seen.

I voted for Biden and I'm glad I did because hes a notch above trump but my/the nation's standards are so low right now that Biden cannot be considered a great president if we are being truly honest about the things he could work hard to change but chooses to ignore (ecstatic gave a good list)

Inertia. The US is still ahead, for now, because of inertia. We're coasting, China is growing.

Both things you mentioned, if you look at trends, China's global respect is growing and the number of people coming to the US for school is slowing.

because trump is anti socialism an what he did on jan 6th makes 9/11  pearls harbor an the Civil war look like a food fight a school cafeteria. Its about time face book an other social media sites are now putting republicans an trump supporters as domestic terrorism.

I’m hoping trump runs again in 2024 just so I can get more comments like this.

It’s so funny to me that our whole country is struggling to convince us that Trump is just an aberration and everything is good and wholesome again now that he’s gone, and yet every single opportunity he gets he reminds us that, no, half the country loves him.

Unlike the events of January 6th, it would probably be something that actually affects the entire country. Widespread riots in all major cities. Major damage - and possibly a refusal by Democrats to give up power.
