So much veil remainders on that specimen in the last two photographs.

I never seen a subaeruginosa with so much veil remains, cool photos.

Is it just me or is it harder to find new mushroom spots than ever before? When I went hunting ~8 years ago it took me like 1 hour to find a place with enough shrooms to last me for the season.

This time I have spent upward of 8 hours walking around different areas which *should* grow shrooms and have found almost nothing. I'm lucky I found one single spot which has a lot of them, in a place where I wasn't even expecting them to be.

I am finding a lot more inactives than I remember ever finding though.. the amount of leratiomyces ceres I've found is easily in the thousands. But very few subs compared to what I was expecting to find.

The patch I found most of mine in last year has finally started showing signs of life, they're still quite small though so I'll give them a little time.
