First time ever cloning an agar pin. It came from a ms plate that exploded, all of the sister plates grew out normally. This boi aint right :facepalm3:

All I'm doing is roosting on plates now like a hen. Looking at them with a magnifying glass.
Like Sherlock Holmes, I'm tracking down the elusive myc. I'm transferring away from major contams!
It's pretty fun, I look forward to another plate needing some transferring.
I mean really, the poor spores!

How do these plates look? Hoping there clean. There is a little sediment in the second plate its not a contamination. Did 1 more transfer anyway want to try lc from these what do yall think.

T1 from a PE swab. Pic is from yesterday, today myc is growing on all edges of the wedge. Hoping this will be clean enough for LC or grain in 2 weeks time.

Yeah I don’t think lc would work out very well, especially the last two. Those might not even be myc.

That's just asking for contaminated jars. Transfer to a new plate and once you have a clean plate then go to grain.
