I think you may have the same filter as me. Works like a charm! I kinda over built mine though... I put a monster Dayton 1TDU2 blower on it and need to cover about half of the air intake. Thing is suuuuper heavy.

Did you purchase in Canada?
They had conflicting info about flow rate and static pressure, I'll be sure to take that into consideration in the future when I need a replacement. It needs to be overpowered to get any decent flow but I have high hopes.

No, it was an eBay purchase. Looks like it shipped from Michigan. I poured over the power curves for all the Dayton blowers when I was building it and decided this was the best one for the static pressure of the filter. Now that its built I think it is a bit overkill, but I suppose it always leaves room for more power as the filter clogs towards the end of its life. I had it a little too far open and it was blowing my plates around hahaha, I covered the intake a bit more and now its perfect. For reference, the filter I have is a Camfil Farr 855023624 QX-22.75 x 41.75.

Yeah for sure, I tried to do the same but my blower matches one set of specs (the one I used obviously) but not the second set found on the filters product sticker.
So now I'm not running any prefilters because it will be under power.
They said on their site and via email and even on the filters flow chart that the filter is .5"sp @ 100fpm....which would be 800cfm. The sticker says .68" sp @ 720 cfm. Thats a huge difference which seriously affected my blowers performance., lucky I had another blower to salvage off of my series 1 to beef up the flow.

I'd rather push 200fpm than 100, flow is better and it will maintain laminar flow as it builds particles over time, as you previously mentioned.

Ah maaaan thats crappy! I hate it when things are mis-labeled. Especially when its from a company and they don't even know the specs on their own product.

14 inch aluminum pizza pans work well enough.

Out of curiosity, how many 5lb spawn bags are you guys fitting in a 75x? I recently got one but have just been doing 4 at a time inside the inner container thing.

This blower worked extremely well for my application.. maybe too well. Was nice I didnโ€™t have yo do any wiring. Just plugged into an outlet with a switch.
