Also, while I have your attention: I have about 10 plates that weren't inoculated (no growth on them, thankfully) but quite a few of them the condensation has puddled/pooled on the agar around the edge. Are these still good to use or should I pour some more?

Looks like mushroom myc to me! That jeweler glass works well!

Personally I'm still using no-pour pp5 dishes, but I will sometimes get a ring of water around the edge or a couple drops that are rolling around. In my mind, the water isn't a problem as long as your sterile/SAB technique is good. I do tend to use those plates for transfers though before the myc reaches the beach.

Those GT plates look awesome man! They all look to be sectoring out nicely. You shouldn't have a hard time finding good places to transfer from!

I am still learning and very much a noob still so please don't take my opinion as truth. The whole water thing could probably be figured out by using the search, but I've just never worried about it too much. From my experience your growth does look like myc when coming from spore on agar. How did you inoculate the dish? spore syringe or print?

And I'm excited about the GT plates! I made the prints myself a couple of years ago so I was glad to see they weren't a failure. I'm going to make transfers today. These are the plates they came from, inoculated with a print and an inoculation loop (cheap on amazon or easy to make your own. Worth having if you're doing spore to agar)

Condensation is a thing that happens to most people, some go through quite a lot to get rid of it but it wont affect the sterility of your plates.
As long as you don't see third party orbiters appearing around your myc or bacteria speckled around on the plate - use it.
No contam? go for it. I've used plates that had puddles of water with great success.
Another note is that I see rhizo growth from a mushroom on your plate, though you would be better able to determine this because you know where you spread spore on that plate, if germination matches up with spore placement its a pretty good giveaway that its mushroom and not mold.
