Why does separating countries have to mean separating people?  Why can't a person have the freedom to choose a nation that has a culture/society that he/she feels is the best fit?  Why are you so afraid of people coming to America?

Not all government funded research is  a bust. Most tech come from the military.

Should we  privatize
the U.S. military? After all, I am sure it could be done at much cheaper price. That always seems paramount.

Since you answered my question with a question I will reciprocate.

Would you be ok with random people moving in with you just because, in their minds, they like the way you run your household (and the full fridge)? Would you be "afraid" of some scenarios likely to result if this was allowed to happen?

I don't get afraid, but there is a big difference, and you know it.  If you want to be intellectually dishonest, you're free to be, but expect people to call you out.  I'm not saying that people should be free to occupy land you own, or I own.  You know that, though.  I'm saying people from anywhere in the world should be free to come to the U.S. just like you're free to go anywhere in the U.S. 

So, are you interested in a discussion?  Or are you interested in spewing logical fallacies for the purpose of avoiding one?

No need to get defensive - I am just trying to have an intellectually honest discussion in which I asked you a question and you are spewing fallacies to avoid answering.

So would you be ok with someone random moving in with you? If not, is it because - let me guess - a combination of:

You worked hard for what you have and will only share on your term

They might be incompatible with your work ethics, personal standards etc

There may be crims and slit your throat at night?

Again, you're just arguing against a strawman you built.  No one has suggested that we give up the notion of property ownership.  Someone from mexico can just as easily buy a house in America, but the person from Mexico isn't allowed to visit or occupy that house without jumping through hoops. This isn't a discussion about private property.  It's about borders and the infringement on people's personal freedom to cross them at will.

It seems you're unable/unwilling to have that discussion, however, because your position is morally indefensible.

They're not moral judgments on you at all.  I'm judging your position, which is, at best, hypocritical.  You claim you're about personal freedom, but you are clearly okay with stopping human beings from crossing imaginary lines in the sand.  When asked about it, you go off on a tangent about having people come into your home uninvited.

I also am judging your rhetorical skills which are woefully inadequate.  This is a debate forum.  If you can't learn to debate without using high school level fallacious arguments, you're not likely to fit in here for very long. 

In short, either step up your game or you're quickly going to find yourself wholly outgunned here.

This isn't an interview.  It isn't a deposition.  I'm not giving testimony.  You are free to ask whatever questions you want.  I may or may not answer them.  If you keep asking irrelevant questions, I'll likely ignore them.
