Lot's of our houses in the Midwest are not built for snow.  Lot's of land with houses in Cali and the West are not built for fire.

At least not built like Russia where they can handle 10 feet of snow.  Russia was also largely built in the cities to survive nuclear war.  Mostly though the snow.

We don't know where climate is going.  It's difficult to predict but I had a buddy that did some long range studies.  He's a smart guy.  He is Jewish and he was my drug dealer.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Weather couldn't be a more complicated science.  It's difficult to get very simple lessons.  Lot's of teachers are too complicated.

Jet streams are a biggie.  They also speak about El Nino and La Nina because oceans and large bodies of water create a lot of different effects.

The weather is very interesting but difficult to predict.  It is even more complicated figuring in man made releases of energy.

The Earth also stores energy.

Talk to any climate scientist and the first thing they will tell you is that climate and weather are not the same thing.  This is why it's so laughable when people stand outside in 15 degree weather and proclaim that "global warming" isn't a thing.

That's the political side of the situation.  I find climate and weather to very much interact.  Nobody will disagree with that.

Politicians, more often than not, conflate the two. Simply because they aren't experts but like to talk as though they are.

I find that is very very common among all people.  Not sure where we learned that but it starts very young.

Sooner or later we learned that it can hurt us and became covert in our ego.  Politics are largely covert.  It's propaganda to have an idea, a vision, a speech.

There's certainly the "I have a right to my opinion" attitude here in the USA. The problem with that opinion is that it's generally worthless, but people still feel the need to tell you about it. This attitude should go away, not just for politicians but for everybody. We'd be a more informed society if this were the case.

People are generally isolationist in their own private quarters.  People fear the smell of their own shit.  I'm not saying it's without good reason, but it is not rainbow family either.

In the military everyone shits together.  I had a shit bud on the swim team too.  We did a lot of bad stuff.  But we always liked to dual dump.
