Pretty strange stuff, eh? Yoga's pretty trendy now. Ye gotta love all the posters selling special yoga clothes with models doing yoga in "spiritual" places like the beach and on hill tops. There's a lot of this kind of stuff on new age book covers.. meditating beside waterfalls, doing some praying thing to the setting sun on a spectacular vista.

Then you go out in the woods and it's like "hey, the ads told me this would be really spiritual." But then it's just the woods.. decaying plant matter.. some trees.. birds.. bear shit.. "where's the spirituality? Hmm.. I guess I'll just have to go do something pretentious, like meditiating by this waterfall.. I think this is what being spiritual looks like.."

It's always humorous when the companies will select songs for airplay when they directly lambaste them.. it shows how it is all about the money with them. Not saying anything new here, I just find it laughable.. ahahahaha... grawaawfffawwfawwff...

On another note, I always get these ads on Dictionary.com for these psychics, and they always show these mystically hot looking babes, with the really vibrant eyes.. sometimes blue, sometimes these really captivating greens... its like, ja, I can wear contacts too. :grin:

my personal theory is that advertisers employ hot looking women because their sex appeal will stimulate sales.

Well, ja, but they get "mystically looking hot" babes for the psychic ads. Its like the way their eyes look signfiy that they are psychics or something.

I also really love those ads on the net that make it appear as if it is an actual message from your computer... half the time they look nothing like it.. they must be banking on the fact that maybe some older people who don't know much about computers will just click on it.. well, I doubt it works. hehe
