Right and Wrong based on an evolutionary standpoint

It is hard to say what is right and wrong. Even if one manages to articulate and utter these intangibles, it becomes even harder to apply right and wrong as a universal standard. Some believe in moral relativism, thinking that what is right and wrong can vary from place to place, and from time to time. Some believe that morals are absolute only when they are arrived at from a divine source. Here is what Special Ed thinks.

If you consider right and wrong as they pertain to evolution, and the continuation of life, one can then say that whatever increases the likelyhood of survival is right, and whatever decreases survival is deemed wrong. Therefore, one can say that one man murdering another man over a simple dispute is wrong, because the population is decreased, which will have a bearing on the survival of humans.

Kind of.

Life is to be preferred over death because we don't know what death brings. The fact that it is unknown means it cannot be compared with life. So no matter how shitty a person's life is we cannot say death is better.
