I think it does. It means you aren't holding the weight as long as you think you are, and if you believe your form is particularly hard to bear, you'll either cease to be or take on a new form which might be a bit happier.

Tradition is there to foster a certain behaviour in people who don't know what they are doing, for both good and bad.

Some of it is largely inescapable, the way we use language, the social roles we play, for example.

However, it is never a good answer to do anything, IMHO, in people past the age of 18.

Brush your teeth and eat breakfast by all means, but realise WHY you are doing it. Fighting wars, worshipping God, or pledging allegiance to your country... these things should be questioned with a rational mind.

When the mind is weak or exhausted, tradition is the only thing that has any true meaning.
